Please advice on Den Burana

Hi guys

My sister was given over 10 Orchids a while ago and only three have survived. She has 2 at work which she is giving me tomorrow to try and rescue but gave me this Den. Burana yesterday to try and save before it ends up like the others...dead.
I watered the den , got an orchid pot, and placed on pebble tray...but have not repotted yet as I do not want to stress it out further until I got advice from you guys on what to do next.
It looks promising as it has grown a keiki but the canes are soft and squishy and feel hollow...I did remove one that was completely black. Please help me...what do I do next. Some of the roots still look white but I haven't taken it out and looked at them completely yet. Thanks for your help.
