    can't take credit for developing the bud, got it that way a little bit ago, but it sure was nice to see it open.

    only a few days - 3 or 4 usually - i got four out of this one. more mature plants will put out several spikes at once, with possibly two buds. so while individual flowers pass, new ones open and the plant will be in bloom for a longer period.
