    Default Dendrobium Question

    I got this Den at a BB store several months ago for a steal so I bought 2 of them. One is in spike and I've posted before. The other grew out this funny looking leave and I thought it was a "terminal" leave and that was that for plant #2.....didn't feel too bad since I had the other healthy plant. Now I see what I believe is a spike...... So what gives?????

    What is a terminal leaf? If it's bad I'm really glad I've never gotten one!

    the terminal leaf looks like it couldn't uncurl do to a defect and the spike arose from the terminal end of the cane and through the leaf.

    Bikerdoc, those are pretty flowers, and I'm happy for your surprise. Looks like it was a very good buy.

    Connie, the terminal leaf is the vertical leaf at the top of a cane that has finished growing.
