    Default My small growing area

    Hi All,

Just thought I toss up couple pictures of my growing area. It's actually in my bathroom on the windowsill (??) that's facing E/NE so it gets the morning sun. The bathroom also got 3 skylights so it'll catch the sunlight bouncing off the walls as the day goes by. I keep the door closed and the humidity stays above 60% through out the day.
This certain can't compare to all the wonderful growing areas I've been reading on this forum but I guess it suits me for now LOL. Please enjoy

I actually have a fan going in the bathroom throughout the day. I usually open up the skylight window and the left window during the night to get that temperature drop. But I haven't really done so since I got back due to the fire. The air seemed fine today so I'll probably start it up again. I guess the daily shower helps with the humidity as well.. LOL

Looks like a great setup to me for a small collection. I am sure the phals and oncids will love this treatment. Way to get creative!

very nice set up... and the plants look very healthy... just goes to show that you don't need a huge space to grow orchids... good growing Jimmy.
