My NOID Paph

Here are couple of pics from the NOID Paph I got about a month ago. I kept waiting for the dorsal sepal to become more upright but I think that's as far as it'll go. Please enjoy. Oh if someone can ID this paph it would be great too

It is really pretty. Perhaps it is Paph. Maudiae? Jmoney posted his awarded Paph Maudiae 'The Queen' AM/AOS back in October. Check it out. They are similar, but may not be the exact same cross.

I agree with Bruce. If it's not Maudiae, it has a very similar genetic background. In spite of my efforts to not get too much in love with yet another group of orchids, I'm losing the battle, and I really like this, even if the dorsal isn't quite as erect as you'd like, Jimmy.

there is something absolutely wonderful about the crispness of these green and white Paphs...

next time when the flower is just opening, prop it about 45 degrees forward so that the flower is facing downward... this tends to 'help' the plant raise it dorsal up.

Cool thanks guys I'll just put down "Maudiae-type". I thought it looks similar to it but I couldn't be sure.

Tim, thanks for the suggestion, I'll have to give that a try next time. Besides the 2 buds when I bought the plant, there's also 3 teeth (I think that's the right term to use) growing as well. I'll just have to wait heh
