    Default 3 first bloom phal seedlings

    Ironically, these three decided to open together today despite the fact that we got snow. (Or maybe they were trying to bring me a little sunshine.) I always get excited about first blooms from true crosses--not mericlones. You never know quite what you'll get and sometimes it isn't quite what you hoped, but it is still exciting.

    Here they are in order of pictures:

    Penang Girl 'TH' x self
    Pride of Ben Yu
    Sogo Lawrence x Tyin Shin Golden Apple
