Thought maybe I'd get more spikes on this guy but only three so far. Many more bumps along the cane so there still might be a few more.

very nice! Yours is ahead of mine. It will be another 2 weeks before mine comes into bloom. 3 spikes this year too, 2 on one growth and one on an older growth on mine as well so far
Just the opposite with mine. Two on the older growth (shown) and one on a newer growth.

That's lovely and a great pic too. I haven't been able to get a good photo of mine; it has six spikes on old canes.

This plant has two flushes of blooms one on old growth and one on new growth. I think that it is one of the prettiest Dens there is.
