In the pink - a cymbidium!

Lat summer I bought a cymbidium over the internet. What color? Pink! Of course! (That's what the tag reads, too! Pink cymbidium).

ahhhh those birds are so cute!!!! I love parakeets. Your cymb is awesome too, I hope mine does that someday!!! How do you grow it?

Becky, This is really easy to grow! I got it mid July and set it outside in the shade of a tree where it got some direct sun in the morning and dappled shade in the afternoon. We had rain usually weekly, so I only watered with the hose twice. I brought it inside to my cool basement the first week of October (If we were supposed to have a hard frost, I would have brought it in earlier.) Now it sits on my basement floor @ 60 degrees under a shop light with T12 sunstick bulbs. I water with tap water every couple of weeks.
