    Smile Purple Cattleya in Bloom

    Hi Guys, I haven't posted in a little while, as I got distracted learning some amatuer mycology to better skill me for the sterile work involved with orchid seeds...

    Its going quite well and I seem to be getting the hang of it, with less and less contams...

    However I'd like to share with you the pretty lady that decided to grace us with her precence... nothing else in bloom at the moment.

    That is a lovely charmer - the shape is quite interesting, such narrow petals and sepals.
