I started out my day going through the plants, now indoors, to water the dry ones. My first trip to the sink with a vanda brought out an Anole, or gecko as we normally call them. He sat watching me water the plants for a full 5 minutes or so. Finally, I grabbed the camera and snapped a few pictures of it. It was so funny to have it sit and watch me go back and forth with plants. Sort of like a dog...lol. After snapping a couple pics, I corraled him onto a plant and took him out front to the snapdragons. Not five minutes later, a Great White Egret went "posing" his way through the back yard. They freeze in place until a little frog or gecko moves and then they snap the little guys up. As they freeze in place it makes it easy to get pictures of them as it's almost like they are posing sometimes. Today, this egret made it super easy to get his picture as he went by the back windows. I hope everyone enjoys my pictures of my visitors. This kind of stuff is why I sit somedays and just stare out my windows. The front picture window can be much more entertaining than tv sometimes!
