First earned orchid bloom-nothing special

I started this orchid addiction Aug. of 2008 and this is one of the very first that I acquired that did not die on me. Nothing special to it, just another NOID, but I can take credit for the bloom.

And that's a Den. unicum at the background in the second photo that bloomed on me also.

I do remember when you joined the forum.That is when I was going nuts,buying plants left and right.To this day I still have not been able to re-bloom Any of my phal.They are suppose to be the easiest to re-bloom.Up until 2 months ago they all looked really sad.I was under watering them.They are starting to look happy again.Good Job,Take Care,Rich

Ha ha ha, I went through that stage also. And at the time, I don't know any orchid grower so I got most of my first chids from this grocery store. I make sure I go soon as they open in the morning so I get the best selection. Those were the days, I'm still addicted but found a lot of different nurseries and local growers around my area. I have 4 of my first phals that are currently in spike. Be patient, when you least expect it they're going to spit out a spike.
