Phaius Tankerville "The nuns orchid"
My nuns orchid isn't as huge as some, so I waited until it was nearly bloomed all the way to share my pics...one bloom opened indoors and looks much different than the others. I had wanted one of these for sometime. It has a pleasant smell that isn't overwhelming. I included a view from the top looking down, it's like having two different flowers. From the back they are pure white, yet from the front they are intense and vibrant. There are also several new growths, four from what I can see right now. One flower spike was broken, I'm wondering if one of the new spikes might be replacing it. Hope, hope, hope....
The 3 new growths, there is one on the back p-bulb but it's hard to see...and the broken flower spike. I've coated it in cinnamon since this was taken.

Obviously these are easy growers.
