First time blooming in my hand, so anxiously whether really black or common one, very expensive but worth to have this one in your collection.

Lovely! Did the spike take a long time to grow? Mine has two spikes that are very small and seem to be taking forever all the while, it's putting on a new leaf also.

Its took about 6 weeks to bloom, same thing the new leaf too. Congrats two spikes, hope can see some progress, I am waiting yours.

Carrie I love species so much, if I see those really handsome and pretty I will buy, choose the best one among the best, in my collection I only have very little hybrids, there no line you are the one that will determine the population of orchids in your garden.
