Yes i really do enjoy the yellow Onc,s.
I have 2 Oncidium Aloha Iwanga "Dogshima" , 1 of these is pretty big with 3 x
2.5 foot spikes & has been blooming for a couple of months.

Very cheery blooms! I love yellow, particularly at this dismal time of year. The lack of sun...grrrrr, well, I guess it is part of nature, like our orchid friends...so I'll just growl a little. The yellow plants always seems so lovely and cheerful to me!

I like the yellow ones too. We have several of these shape flowers in our personal collection. They range from tiny to huge like this one. I feel so lucky that they bloom at all different times of the year. Next time the little one is in bloom, I will snap a photo of it. (My favorite) It is in a super small pot maybe 2.5 inches and puts out a ton of blooms smaller than a dime on branching spikes. The name escapes me right now, but it really is showy for such a small plant. We have been growing it for several years. It needs to be repotted badly. All the roots are growing around the outside of the tera-cotta pot it is residing in. Anyhoo....Thanks for looking!

Those yellow oncs are so pretty! Right, they are so bright and cheery. They look like little pieces of gold hanging in the air !

If there is an orchid that is considered as a "beginner's orchid", it should be the yellow onc. not the fussy phals. Yellow onc are easy to care for, blooms almost continously all year round, and except for the occasional new growth rot if it rains everyday in summer, I never had a problem growing them. For me, they are the most rewarding plants I had ever grown. Thanks for posting the pics, very nice indeed !!
