Can I leave my cymbidium orchid outside now?

I am wanting to leave my cymbidium outside now that temps have gotten nicer. 70's during the day and 50's at night. Is this ok? I would really like to do this so i can water him very well.is that too cold? I don't want it to hurt him but at the same time maybe the temp cycle will do something, since it really has done nothign for 2-3 months now!

Yep! Those temps should be fine. Just make sure you don't put it in direct sun right away, you might get leaf burn. Slow and steady wins the race

The Cyms that I do have (1 large green standard that has only bloomed once in four years) stay out in 25 F temps with no major issues.

I'm thinking I'll leave it outside tonight and see what happens. I keep getting these black spots on my leaves though and starting to get worried about them. Theyt seem to dry out and leave holes in the leaves. should I cut the leaf off just before the blackspots? Ideas?

where you have the plant, you may want to check that condensation during the night aren't dropping cold water droplets on the plant... that can be a reason for the black spots.
