Brassia Datacosa care

Hi. I have a Brassia Datacosa, and I know very little about orchids in general except that I love them. I've had her for a year or so, and she's slowly done worse and worse. The wide, soft leaves have seemed to slowly yellow with brown spots on the tips, and what WAS growing in the winter (Pacific NW with south facing windows) were stockier, accordian-like leaves that stayed shut and strong looking.
Recently, two of the original bases of the original soft leaves have yellowed, and I fear she's dying...

I guess my question is what kind of light and water should I be using? She gets a lot of late afternoon sun, but since the summer's coming, it seems to be doing worse for her.

Hi Eric! Heere is what orchidwiz program says about your brassia: grow this hybrid in dappled light to bright indirect light conditions. Temperatures 58 to 85 degrees at night. Grow mounted or potted in course medium such as fir bark. 70% humidity, 40 to 50% in winter when growth slows. Fertilize twice a month. so it takes medium to warm temperatures, high humidity, medium light ( east window out of direct sun, or south window with a shear curtain between the window and the plant). Hope this is helpful. The yellowing lower leaves may just be natural ageing. Brown leaf tips could be fertilizer burn or sun burn. When you get a chance, post a pic for us to analyze. Good to have you on board!
