I thought you might enjoy a comparison between 2 Phal. cornu-cervi I have blooming right now. Both were repotted recently, but doesn't seem to phase them. In fact, are probably blooming more vigorously .
This is the typical form
This is the flava form

Nice, love how they shine. I have one marked "red" that is currently in spike. Very interested to see what color I get with it.
nice! I should check mine
Very nice! I can't decide which I like best. I'd have to go with the traditional probably, I'm a sucker for spots and markings on phals. Do these have a nice smell? If so they'd be just about jumping in my cart!
Oh I know which one I love - the yellow one!! So beautiful. Send it to me! hehehe... Both are really nice, Susan. I love the bloom shape.
Cheers,
BD

Yes, please share pictures. I have a red one too, but is still a baby.

They are supposed to be fragrant, but no matter how often I sniff, I don't smell anything. Could be just me
Send it to me! hehehe
The yellow one has a keiki coming .
Susan
both of them are beautiful, nice growing susan.
I have the traditional, the flava, the red otherwise known as the "chattaladae" variety and one "alba" variety. They are still growing and am hoping they will flower soon.
Like them both! Cornu-cervi is totally my favorite phal species!
