This guy was supposed to be "red". Instead the blooms are very simular to my other cornu-cervi. Love species phals. though so not too upset

yes looks like normal color form...but nice anyway. I would hate to ask what you paid for the red. They are much more expensive than normal ones or even the yellow one.

Na Ron, the vedor only charged $25 since he'd never bloomed it before and was not 100% positive it was actually a red. I knew it was gamble when I got it. Have a gigantea coming on Wednesday!

Sorry he's not solid red. He is a cutie, though, so I'm glad you're content with him.

Ron, It's approx. 12" with a still green previously bloomed spike.

That is a lovely cornu-cervi--even though it isn't red. I just received this week a flask of cornu-cervi fma chattalade 'Chinainthorn' x 'Orchidglade'--so it should be red. It is a sib cross of two very red chattalade forms. I'll get them all hardened off and growing and see about sending you one.

Lovely bloom!!! Did I said that?! I ment look at it... not red... Nothing like what you expected...If you don't like it I can give you an address where you can send it to... btw I think the gigantea was mailed to wrong address too... I'll give you the correct one...
