yes looks like normal color form...but nice anyway. I would hate to ask what you paid for the red. They are much more expensive than normal ones or even the yellow one.

This guy was supposed to be "red". Instead the blooms are very simular to my other cornu-cervi. Love species phals. though so not too upset![]()

Na Ron, the vedor only charged $25 since he'd never bloomed it before and was not 100% positive it was actually a red. I knew it was gamble when I got it. Have a gigantea coming on Wednesday!
good
what size on the gigantea?
Ron, It's approx. 12" with a still green previously bloomed spike.
Have I mentioned I love cornu-cervi-color doesn't matter.

That is a lovely cornu-cervi--even though it isn't red. I just received this week a flask of cornu-cervi fma chattalade 'Chinainthorn' x 'Orchidglade'--so it should be red.It is a sib cross of two very red chattalade forms. I'll get them all hardened off and growing and see about sending you one.
Lovely bloom!!! Did I said that?! I ment look at it... not red... Nothing like what you expected...If you don't like it I can give you an address where you can send it to... btw I think the gigantea was mailed to wrong address too... I'll give you the correct one...![]()
