    Default Galeandra leptoceras

Not too difficult to grow. It's in the south facing window open-to-below family room, so I guess it like partial shade and a bit cool temperature. Quite long lasting (have been around for 2 weeks already).

Very cool flowers. Does it need a dry rest in the winter or anything?

Beautiful blooms, Nora. I love how antique they seem.

My place is pretty dry, furnace is always turned on in winter. I still water it even growing has been stopped but I do make sure it's kind of dried up before watering, so I would say watering has to be cut down in winter.

Really nice. I've always wanted to try a Galeandra. I love the way the booms are carried on the plant.

Not only are the blooms pretty but the plant is really interesting. I would probably buy this if I saw it at a show!

What a cool plant! The flowers are beautiful, they sort of remind me of trichopillas.
