CROWN ROT on Cymbidium? - SOS

Good morning everybody. It seems that every morning I find a new problem on my orchids. Today I have checked on Cym Crescent Tears which my husband gave me on Mothers day - and found very new tiny leaf that barely showed up being yellow. I pulled it a little bit - it came out very easy, wet at the base and VERY stinky! This plant was under the rain last week and looks like water got inside a crown and didn't dry up - leading to a new disaster for me... I've read that action should be fast ore will have to discard whole plant. How to clean deep inside crown? How to desinfect the crown of Cymbidium if it's so deep inside?
Help please! I don't want to loose another plant...

No, but it's a young bulb next to brand new little one (on a left).

try pouring in some hydrogen peroxide and get it in between all the leaves.

And leave it there? It's not going to gamage anything? Would that be enough?
I felt that this would be good thing to do but waited for your sugestion.
What about fungicide?

In between all the leaves - you mean alll the leaves of that bulb ore all bulbs in a pot?

Hi Oksana,

From all outward appearances, that cym looks healthy to me. Do as Ron suggests and pour a little hydrogen peroxide in the spot where you noticed the smell. It will evaporate on its one or you can help it by adding a fan.

Thanks for the pointer. I'm suffering from the same predicament for the first time with a phal. I think mine is lost though. I just found out and all the leaves are yellow and came off easily. The leaf base was moldy. The roots look great though. Heres hoping.

Well... today I saw another new little leaf coming from the same p-bulb being yellow... I pulled it - and it came out easily and was very stinky. Again!... Seems like peroxide treatment didn't work. What else can I try? I don't want to loose this Cymbidium - my husband gave it to me for Mothers day and it bloomed with beautiful green and red dots flowers...
