Maxillaria tenuifolia need help

Hello Everyone,

Okay, so I decided to bid on the above plant at an internet auction site and won. Today I received the plant and it was not how I expect it to be. The p-bulbs looks very dehydrated (almost flat) and wrinkly. Over all it looks fine (some new roots, green leaves) . My question; how can I nurse it back to were the p-bulbs will look plump and healthy. I am ready to repot it and plan on growing it inside where there's bright indirect light and about 60-70% humidity.

Any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

JMO, this plant looks like it needs more water (gradual increase) and more light. Roots look good to me but i'm no expert. The new growth looks promising - good luck!

It has been neglected, Marissa. I would follow Tami's advice and gradually increase water. Those p-bulbs may not ever come back, but the new ones will be fine. There are enough roots to keep it alive and growing. Good luck.

Thanks guys, I repotted it and will give it some TLC to help it recover.

i think it only recently got dehydrated the leaves and roots look good

I agree with Fren.
I know that I run mine dry during the winter but moister in growing season but they never get that dessicated looking.
