    Default Wave Hill Garden, Bronx NY

    I am taking the summer off and I have been going on day trips in the greater New York City. This afternoon I went to Wave Hill, a public garden in the Bronx which is a real gem.
    Not as known as the botanic gardens in Queens and in Brooklyn, Wave Hill is intimate and adorable with stunning views of the Hudson river ... Enjoy

    Looks like it was a private estate at one time

    Do you know how the Bronx got it's name?

    The Bronk family had a farm there...people would say they are going to the Bronk's...somewhere the 's turned into x after the British took over from the Dutch
    (just filled with trivia here, LOL)
