That's ok about the frog--out in the pond, he might sink!
You said to plant the division where it's deep: how deep is too deep? Our pond's bottom goes down about 10 feet--is 3 or 4 feet appropriate?
And thanks, Gilda. Your sending a div is very very much appreciated!
LOL the frog at the bottom of the picture is real !!
10 ft. !!!!!!!!!!!! I didn't know you had a lake !!!!!!John says as long as it is below the ice freeze line..and you should be much warmer than we are....so 2-3 ft is OK....
OMG... I thought that was a mud glop with moss on it!!! (I never did very well with those "Find Toucan Sam in the picture" things on the backs of cereal boxes...) I was looking at the frog to the left!![]()
2-3 feet: sounds good! And I'm going to put a *fence* around it so the hound doesn't try to pull it up!
LOL, I didn't see the frog at first either Louis, don't feel bad. I thought she was talking about the terracotta. Then I realized that was a frog house! lol
Oh boy.... I completely missed the terra cotta frog on top of the frog house! I only saw the blue frog on the left!
I'm getting new glasses. And I promise I won't go out for a job as an airport security scanner....
Exactly *how many* frogs are there in the picture?
Blue frog ??? LOL !That is a concrete frog in the shadows ..........color is not blue LOL.......there is another one to the left of it...terracotta frog on top of the house and several on the frog crossing sign. Also, the real frog on the board in front of the terracotta house. We do like our frogs !

LOL! It is like a mystery photo. "Find all the frogs in this photo." I had to take another look again! Being a designer, I have a very strong developed eye for detail in photos. One of the things I teach my students in Fund. of Design is to "learn to look". LOL! Can't believe I missed the blue frogs on the sign!!Originally Posted by Gilda

Cheers!

Gilda, the lotus and lily arrived today--they look great! Looks like both have already sprouted new leaves, and I placed them in a bucket of water in the greenhouse. How long can they stay that way before being planted? Also, how far into the mud should they be buried? Should the lotus' tuber be completely covered?
