First time blooming, though a bit late. Not fragrant, a bit disappointed. But I really love the flower, especially the tails.

It did great for first time blooming!!! Lovely flowers! I think the scent will come....
Lovely ! Nice pictures. They really have a very long spur as compared to the flower size.
Congrats on blooming it ! It is super pretty.
Very impressive, with such long spurs. What medium do you have this planted in? The beautiful plants, mounted with spag, are so elegant looking but I can't keep them alive very long.

It is so beautiful, Nora. Well done! The fragrance should be there in the early morning when the sun hits the blooms.
Marilyn, I have much better luck potting this type of orchid in a very open mix. We use lava rock and have a bit of living Spanish moss hanging on the roots. With they look of your vandas, you should be able to grow these easily.
Cheers,

Nice bloom and cute flowers. They look dainty.
Living spanish moss?? Like the stuff that hangs off trees down here in Florida?? Does having it around the Vanda types help with humidity or something?? I can go get a big hank and clean it off and hang it out front if it helps...at this point i'd do a "Vanda dance" to get mine to bloom if I thought it'd work! (so far showing them pictures and begging hasnt' worked!)
Those are the prettiest little things! Thanks for sharing...
these are fragrant at dusk/night
