I have a quick question. I believe this to be an Epidendrum Orchid (Correct me if I'm wrong). It has a keiki and I wanted to know how I go about removing this? Do I just SNAP it off? I really rather not CUT the whole plant as it's not mine. A friend just let me take the keiki.
It has many roots as you can see in the photo. The parent plant doesn't have any bulbs of any kind and it seems to be planted in...dirt?
Please help.
