This cute little one was growing planted in the ground. The owner gave me a nice part of it, but he had no clue what is it. The flower is very little and was very hard to take picture of it. Anyone have an idea what is it?

Thanks, Andrea. Here is the plant still not planted...
The AOS magazine did an article on this species some time ago. I don't remember which issue it was. I do remember that it's an invasive species that has become pretty common Florida.
Love the bloom shape and color. Are you going to grow it in the ground too?
Cheers,

Thanks, Bruce! I haven't decided yet... that's why it’s not potted. I was convincing myself that I better put it in a pot at least for now... Any advise is welcome!
The flowers look to me like some species of Pogonia. Sorry I can't be more specific. It's really pretty.
Stef, I think you've got it.
there were some hints so if you google and look around invasive species in florida.
now the thing is i really like and i was looking on line auctions and stuff and they are all in thailand no cites etc...
this is the kind of orchid i like probably easier than an encyclia but similar flower.
if it is a pest in florida why is not readily available?
if someone has some info where to look to get it send me a message!
