    Default Spathoglottis sp. (Philippines)

    Hi,

I have a yellow Spathoglottis ground orchid, I don't know about this specie name.

    Would somebody identify this specie?

    Thanks,

    Decoy

    Hi Decoy,

The only Philippine Spathoglottis species that I know, which flowers without leaves is Spathoglottis vanoverberghii.

    Ok. Thanks.

By the way, would it be possible this plant scatters across the Luzon island?

This plant came from Bicol Region.

    Hi Decoy,

Yes, it would. The original plants described came from central Luzon.

Spathoglottis are found along the damp thickets in forest slopes...

Here in Bukidnon, I'm trying to find what I have got last time, Spathoglottis tomentosa...
Very rare to find, they grow in the damp slopes in our farm...
