I love landscape photography. Very nice!
Hi Gidi, could you give more details, haw did you take these pictures. They are fantastic.
Your photos are great. What a view.
lanhua: the photographs were taken with film camera (minolta dynax 7) I shoot only positives, the film that was used in the first photo is FUJI VELVIA 50 which is no longer in production, in the other photographs i used FUJI VELVIA 100.
i use a tripod for all long expo. photos and a remote control and mirror lock up to minimze shake (also recomended for close-up photography).
1st and 3rd photo same setting 30 minuets expo. f/5.6 (in the 1st photo the film was less sensetive but it was a full moon night which added a lot of light for a 30 min. expo., the diference in color is due to the combo. of film type+moon light+cloud preforming as a screen).
2nd and 4th photos were 4 hrs expo. with f/4 in was pitch black night w/o any light the what so ever.
if you want to experiment with long expo photos remember to take a termus with hot coffee and an ipod
one last thing i used a minolta prime 20mm lens f/2.8
Wow, Gidi, those are outstanding. Very nice work!
Cheers,
