    Talking Enc. sietetracequatros x Enc. Orchid Jungle

    Check out the pseudobulbs on this one! This is the 5th of my 6 new orchids and was by far my favorite . I have never seen such large pseudobulbs and as some of you know I am a sucker for big fat round pseudobulbs!

    Amazing roots!


    I can't wait to see what the blooms are like because I have never seen or heard of an Enc. sietetracequatros.

    You are not alone! I love Encyclias mainly for their p-bulbs. There flowers are just a big bonus!

    Your one half is mispelled...an Encyclia type I have in spike right now came with a tag that reads... Epi. Sietetrescuartos as part of the cross. When I looked it up I found Encyclia's RIO's Phoenix (Sietetrescuartos X cordegera) and a picture. If you look up the new spelling you may find your cross as well. Good Luck...
