The first flower of my Phal. tetraspis 'C#1' opened some time ago - unfortunately it is completely white. Nevertheless I like it a lot - the ivory-cream white looks so elegant!
Maybe there are red and white flowers to come later this year.![]()

Very neat! I heard that the brighter the light, the brighter the colors on the blooms of tetrapsis. Try moving it to a brighter location and see if it makes a difference the next time around.

It already has the brightest location I can offer, but it's simply too dark around here this time of the year which is why I am hoping for summer. It has some smaller buds now but we've only had cold and rainy days the last weeks so they're going to be white again.
Anyway, I can wait. I know that can bloom red and white, because it already did last year.![]()
I can't wait for mine to bloom. Hmmm .... I wonder what mine will look like with the extremely hot weather and bright sun.
