I very much like the delicate color of this vanda, its two-toned pale lavender lip, and the off-white base that sets off the very light tessellation and blue violet spots.
From a distance, it looks almost gray.
Angel, this is beautiful....
Thank you, Randy. It's one of my favorites. The color somehow is so relaxing.
What a nice color/ pattern on this vanda. Beautiful.
Cheers,

I did a double take on the name. I expected Mimi Palmer in there somewhere... You have got one lovely vanda! The color is so unusual...Lucky You!
Nice pleasant colour. Is it a quarter- terete? I saw a quarter- terete just like it last week but didn't buy it as the price was a bit too high for me.
Very pretty......I love the color.
Thanks Bruce and Connie.
Connie you're right, it is an unusual color, especially for a vanda. That's why it instantly caught my eye. I wouldn't know about Mimi Palmer with a Manuvadee, might result in a darker hybrid.
Hello John and Yew Sung...thank you for dropping by. ;-)
This vanda is a strap vanda Yew Sung; its leaves are somewhat flat open and not rigid like the terete. The leaves that you see behind the flowers in the bottom picture are those of a Velthius hybrid that is positioned a little higher than this one.
How much were they selling the quarter terete that you saw?
hi angel,
a very nice hybrid, love the color combo!
