Default Flask question B. Culcullatta cross

I found a really interesting B. Culculatta flask and as i've thought about trying to unflask for awhile now; I have a couple questions. With a plant such as a brassavola, can you unflask directly to a wood mount?? (and if so), Is there a specific wood that it's better to use? And how long would it be from unflasking until they are considered adult? I appreciate any input as this will be a first for me.

I have always found that flasked plants do better when first put into a community pot to grown on before planting out individually.

I would agree, unless there are some very large individuals in the flask I would compot them until they have a chance to acclimitize to the world outside the flask. Even with a large individual plant it would require a lot of attention to go straight to a mount.

So, are you going to compot, Connie?
