    Default My Bulbo aestivale (catenulatum clumping yellow)

    This has tiny pseudobulbs and thin leaves and the tag says its light requirements are on the low side. Apparently it likes where it is because it's started to spike now. I see 3 spikes with buds on the end, but the photo doesn't show more than 2. I'm hoping for lots more!!

    Here are pictures of my first flower. It bloomed on 6/9. Now there are a couple more flowers on the plant. The interesting thing is that the flowers close up at night and open again in the morning.

    congrats! the bloom looks quite big on your plant.
    btw, whats with the name catenulatum clumping yellow? catenulatum is totally different...
