Angraecum flower stalk - to cut / not?

Hi there

I've got an angraecum that didn't flower for 5 years & this year she gave the most beautiful flowers and it lasted for 3 months!

Now that the last flower is off, I am wondering: the flower stalk is still very green & healthy-looking.. should I cut it or not? Is there a chance of something coming from the flower stalk - like a baby Angraecum (I WISH!) or something else?

The flowers stalk (Spike) will eventually turn brown and dry. You can cut it off. Keikies will typically grow at the base of the plant. If you cut the spike off while green, seal the cut to prevent infection. I prefer to wait until it turns brown before removing it.
