Not sure what my problem was the day I took these but apparently I couldn't hold the camera still. So apologies for the crappy pictures. Unfortunately, because I forgot about taking new photos and waited too long the plants are no longer in bloom. Anyway, both of these are the exact same cross, but as you can see there is some difference in the flowers.
IME, this is quite common with Dream Catcher. I personally prefer the one on the right despite the fact that the one on the left holds its flowers more upright. Light intensity does have some impact on flower color. The plant on the left, for instance, actually had two buds. The flower pictured was the first to open. At that time the plants were sitting in front of my SW window. The other bud opened a week or two later after I moved the plants to a more shaded spot where I could better enjoy the flowers. That 2nd flower wound up being almost pure yellow with the red lip.
Oh, and for those who are curious, Dream Catcher is a true mini -- both plants are less than 5 inches (approx 12cm) tall.
