    It's not really that big; just an odd perspective trick.

    The lip is a lovely odd semi-transparent mauve.

    I guess I ought to mention – this is from RVO. I didn't buy it myself; a coforumite had bought it, but it just didn't turn out to be what she wanted and she's freaking out about space right now . . . so I traded her for it. Haven't picked out what she's getting yet, but it'll be nice (I think either a phrag or a calanthe).

    I should also mention: despite the odd perspective, the bloom really is quite large. Probably the largest coloratum I've seen.

    Actually, that's a question I have for the Paph people: Is this a coloratum or a peacock? Still not quite clear on all these divisions.
