Repotting orchids help please

Hello!
I'm new to this forum, so please excuse my stupid questions. Friend of mine gave me some orchids (phal, dendro...) and all needs to repott. I know from what I read, that orchids should be repotted in spring-early summer, but as I sad, all my orchids needs to be repotted. I soaked some bark and coal in water for some weeks (I had a lot of work, so I forgot ) and last weekend I repotted some of them. Some Phal starts to show yellow leaves (bottom leaves). My questions: Is it possible to repot in autumn? What about these yellow leaves? Is it ok, just reaction to stress? Thanks for any help!

If it is the bottom leaves then you shouldnt worry about it too much, phalaenopsis will drop their bottom leaves because of age but you will get new ones. You should try posting pictures of your orchids to see if anything is wrong with them. How are roots doing and does your orchids seem like they are under stress??

Well, I can't take pictures yet, my camera is broken (in service) I have to cut some roots...

It may be just reaction to stress. I repot when they really seem to need it, even if its not the season. And, as mentioned above, phals older leaves on the bottom do turn yellow and are shed from time to time. If they start new leaves son, keep an eye on how those look.

Dens and phals have rather different light requirements...what kind of light are your little guys getting?

potting time: that's great information for me and my little ones that I can repott event if it's not a season to repott

light: all are in shaded environment (not dark, just shaded) right now, for repotting reasons...

Your dendrobium will need lots of light, a south facing window will probably be best but make sure it gets shaded from noon and afternoon sun or it will burn the plant
