I picked this one up a few months ago for my mom, the resident phal-nut. The species have something that the hybrids just lack...much the same as unifoliate catt species versus their hybrids, in my opinion.

Amazing how those flowers glisten... these species are certainly giving the hybrids a run for their money... That shape is so round, and well spaced and good placement, ie almost facing the same direction... that's gotta win awards...
