Stenoglottis longifolia - another million tiny flower job
Flowers are actually about half an inch in the north-south direction. Keeps flowering for a couple of months or more, since the bottom flowers are now over but new ones still developing at the top of the spikes. An easy plant, likes it wet in the early stages of growth, but then on the dryish side, or the thin floppy leaves rot ( I use a terrestrial sort of compost - fine bark, a bit of peat or loam, and some grit or Perlite to open it up for drainage). Needs to be quite dry when resting - the leaves will brown and die after flowering,and then start watering as the new growths enlarge.
