Vanda in water culture

Today, I put one of my vanda in water culture. This one is not doing too well compared to my other 3 vandas. I really did not know what else to do with it to survive. I also thought of trying to do s/h with it but since s/h is all new to me, I figured maybe water culture would be best.

Can anyone here tell me if I did the right thing? or can someone here give me a better suggestion? Please experts out there... help!!!

What exactly do you mean by water culture???? Please add a few pictures of your set up. If you submerge the vanda roots completely, they will decompose and die. VAnda roots need to dry out between waterings.

Rich, it's somewhat like that old posting, except I have water at bottom, not touching roots. Although, I soaked roots for a whole day then, removed water & left some at bottom of vase for humidity.
