    Default Acronia (Pleurothallis) penelops

    Photographed at a nursery in Ecuador.
    The sheer number of Pleurothallis metagenus species is daunting. What's more, most photos show only the blooms. I've been frustrated in both directions - huge plants and dinky plants. I'm trying to shoot some perspective shots to go with the flower pics. They're not quite as aesthetically pleasing, but I think they do the job.

    its an interesting specie, especially the leaves. I wish i could grow one of these but unfortunately I dont have the conditions.
