Cheers,
Been silent for quite a while, December has been a very busy month for us... did a
huge house renovation and finally I now have a better grow area for my plants.
Tons of yearend stuffs to do at work, which I am still working on at the moment.
Anyways before we started work on the house I did my best to put my plants
into safety, unfortunately my effort wasnt good enough as I have lost quite a
few plants... mostly because cement dust got in their leaves and hardened
while some got fell upon by cement debris. Not much lost in orchids tho, just
a few Vandas and 1 phal... the hardest hit was my nepenthes I lost 4
nepenthes.
Anyways, during the middle of construction I was surprised to see my Robert
Delight in bloom, i didnt even notice that it was in spike. I immediately grab
for my camera and took an awkward shot, since its in the middle of the temporary
grow area and I cant get a good photo of it unless im outside my property and
position the camera in an awkward angle.
It has been in bloom since the 2nd week of december until now, although at the moment
its only got 1 flower left as I was quite clumsy when i was moving plants back to their
new place after the renovation.
Anyways heres my Robert Delight, hopefully you'll like this one... its a first time
bloomer for me I nearly lost it during the summer of last year.
Thanks.
