I don't know if you would call this a bug. Prior to signing in, members names are showing up on all posts. Usally the names were showing up after loging in. That the only thing I see so far. Thanks, Rich

Hello everyone.
Well, today we finished a project that started back in the summer of 2009. We have totally re-vamped the community software with a new look along with new features. But with all the updates, there are probably typos and bugs with the way things work.
Granted, uploading photographs is very different (I will be making a video to show how that is done, but it is pretty easy to understand.)
Please post bug reports here...
Cheers,
BD

Yes, I have it on the list. It is a permission error. I should have it fixed soon. Thanks so much for the help, Rich.

It's possible that this may be something to do with the fact that I use Firefox instead of Microsoft but I just posted on the 'sick orchids' section and immediately got a server error. First time I tried to put a picture on but that went up with no problem once the size was right. I tried again and got the same server error but when I switched sites and then came back in again, the posting was there. Just scanned in case some kind person has sent me a trojan but that is reported clear and there are no problems with any other site. The site seems to be running rather slowly as well. You can't trust a Brit can you, especially a newbie Brit?
Hi John,
There are a couple times during the day when we do a complete backup of the server and other maintenance. If you were attempting to post during one of the scheduled tasks (that can last between 60 seconds and three minutes) you could receive an "Internal Server Error". We've tried to space these out so that they happen around ever 12 hours. This is most likely what happened. If this happens again, just note the exact time, give the site a few moments to correct the issue and simply refresh the page.
This site is designed to be viewed in FireFox and I recommend using it for not only the security, but also for the way it handles css (the design elements of the site).
Cheers,
BD
Probably explains it, especially as the time difference means that I'm probably more active than most of your members who will be 4 to 8 hours behind GMT so an ideal time for backups whilst Stateside is zzzzzzing. Thanks Bruce. Hadn't thought of that.
For some reason my feed stopped working on March 25th. I use NewsFire on a Mac.
