Repotting a leptotes bicolor

Hello,
Ok well I just received this guy three days ago, I was wondering if I should repot this guy cause the way the median looks, the bark is white and I'm concern of salt deposit. I'm not sure if I want to repot yet cause its so little its in a 2' inch pot, I'm also thinking of mounting it on bark instead cause I heard this species flowers hang downward. Any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated . BTW I posted a pic as well

Mount it on cork or hardwood stick if you can maintain the humidity@50% or higher.

it sure needs to get out of that old medium...I agree with mounting if the humidity is there...good luck.

I think you should replace the medium, either re-pot or mount as per Tom's advice. If you decide to re-pot I would suggest you use the same size of pot.

I find, if the humidity isnt there, mounting on ponga works well, as it holds moisture in its bark? wood? or whatever it is well.70% of my mounted ones are on ponga while the rest are on beech or Totara wood. Also, ponga is good if you need slabs
