Platystele beatricis

Two years ago I saw somewhere a little, charming blooming orchid and I needed to have one in any way - it was Platystele umbellata. I did an order, got it soon and when it blossomed, I found out that this is Platystele beatricis. OK, this one is sharming too, I did't get too angry - and I ordered another one P.umbellata, wait until flowering and found out that there's been given another P. beatricis to me. Recently I ordered another one, and - you won't believe - I got the third Platystele beatricis.... now I have 3 P. beatricis (someone needs one?) and still no Platystele umbellata
My next order: Platystele beatricis, I do belive I'll get the desired one

Hahah... if you get the correct one that way, let me know! hahah.. too funny and I bet frustrating too. Beautiful orchid though.

Wonderful how you displayed these for photographing. Branka if you end up with four of these (I hope you get the desired Platystele umbellata) maybe you could trade with someone in Europe/Slovenia or you can open a orchid nursery and specialize in............hehe AL

I think P. umbellata is a bit over rated, for my taste anyway.

I love that first photograph, Branka. Those droplets of water give it an ethereal quality.
