chysis bractescens

so i picked up a chysis bractescens at the last OS meeting for $10 (pretty soon my husband is going to ban me from going. lol...but i digress).
it has multiple healthy growths (some with leaves) and lots and lots of roots. it has never flowered for the person i bought it from, but hey it was a steal (i thought so anyways).

now my question is about culture.
i was going to grow it like my newly acquired cycnoches, (let it go dormant after it drops its leaves and don't water it until new growth appears etc etc etc), which seems to be the way to go given what i've read about it's culture....but.....

it has roots like a paph? hairy, thick, drown-me-in-water roots....hmm

so tell me how you grow your chysis.
light? temp? water? dormancy? flowering?
does it prefer heavy metal or techno music?

i guess no one grows this one eh?
oh well. perhaps i can start a trend. heh. soon you'll all have to have one!

hopefully i will be able to get it to bloom so you can all enjoy it.
