Good forms of skinneri are hard to come by in UK- it is only a couple which have been meristemmed by the South American nurseries which one can get. I guess that flower longevity is relatively poor compared with modern hybrids, so that they are not of much interest , but somehow species , for all their failings, have a certain natural innocence and sweetness which makes them good in my eyes.
