    Default Sc. Rosella Bells update

Earlier this year I posted the pic below. A plant I had just purchased --- from a nursery I know very well, A friend of mine.
I divided the plant in half, approx' 6 canes each. The half that hadn't flowered is in flower now.

This is the flower on the second half of the plant, What do you think ??

Roy it is a bit late for an April Fools day prank LOL !!! I have no explanation of how this could happen, just that originally there were two plants in one pot that you separated later. It is possible for two seedlings from compot to be planted together. Such diversity in siblings though not very common can occur. An amazing purchase I would say, two different plants for the price of one.

No April Fool Amey. I did have to break the rhizome although tiny. Prob' 2 plants joined from proto corm stage.
    The x is C. Princess Bells ( white ) x C. Lana Coryell ( pink sort of ).
This would explain the white flower. Color variation in compact or mini Catts is not unusual from what I have seen here.
If the white flowers as good or better next flowering when it hasnt been disturbed by breaking & potting, which I think it will, makes it a very good purchase.

I was just kidding ROY, I know it isn't a prank. It would be interesting to see the development.

Very interesting especially since the second one was broken off from the same rhizome - but I'm also reminded that Roy has a wicked sense of humour ( his own words). Hehehehe.

Whats this ??? Pick on Roy day is it ???
Genuine fact, probably 2 plants grown together in flask but both grew out of flask. The plants themselves do look identical though.

Just for that I won't show you Cymbidrobium.

Well, Roy, with consolation like those orchids, I daresay you can handle "pick on Roy day" and still end up with a smile on your face!

I've been picked on by experts & that doesn't work either !!!! More ammo for me to use.
BTW, the white Catt' has opened more and matured, it makes a difference too.
