Hello and Happy Father's Day!
My beloved paph Sukhakulii is taking a turn for the worse. This is a three growth plant that has produced a lovely healthy long lasting flower for the past 4 years. It is grown on a windowsill (east), kept moist and has always been in moss. I'm currently residing in the Midwest and it's quite hot and humid.
I use Schultz orchid food and repotted a couple months ago. I've inspected for critters and can find none and have tried homemade remedies (oil-soap-water-cinnamon) and also have tried Bayer Natria.
I have not tried Physan yet and will order some online (none in my area). As you can see in the images the leaves are pale, with tan and yellowing discolorations. Sorry the images are so poor but I had to use my cell phone.
This all began when I received an orchid from an online grower that wasn't in great condition.
Should I remove these leaves? I'm going to check roots and see what's going on; I've been considering repotting to bark but can only find bark in bags like "Miracle Grow" or "Better Grow" and have never had good luck with them (lots of root rot).
I really don't want to lose this plant because I've done something careless or neglectful. Any help and guidance is extremely welcome and appreciated.
Cheers and Blessings
