    One of my crazy ideas was to adapt a cheap plastic tube bird feeder by making the feeding holes wider and cutting some slits in the sides and then I could perhaps plant 3 small orchids in it and hang it instead of having 3 hanging pots. - martha

    That's my kinda thinking, Martha! Maybe a foot wide three foot long drainage pipe would hold more tho'! LOL
